Our room faces the sea and it’s lovely sight to have, each morning,to watch sunrise and the oyster farm in front. The spread for breakfast is good. The staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to ensure our queries and needs are looked into. The shuttle service is really prompt and convenient to get to the train station for us to go to the ferry station too.

Lovely location close to the water and very handy for visiting miyajima. We booked a soak in the private onsen which was lovely after a long drive up from Nagasaki.

Wonderful hotel with sea views Nice big room Amazing kaiseki dinner - with English menu! (Special thanks to the English speaking waiter who helped introduce the food and recommended a delicious sake!!) Shuttle to get to the station - but you can reach the ferry in line 15min walking if you don’t have a suitcase There was a night cruise to see the great torii at tonight but i didn’t do it Lots of comments mention “dated rooms”, but they are in amazing condition - it may not be new but it is all perfectly maintened

Room was very nice thank - spacious, good size bathroom, wonderful view. The staff came in at night to transform our futon beds - they were so polite and incredibly efficient to watch! The breakfast was huge, lots of choice and very friendly and helpful staff. Reception were always polite and eager to help. The best bit was the private onsen - that was magical and we tried out both! Oh and the shop was fantastic too, stocking some fabulous food items

The staff and the service were the best of it. The rooms are clean and nice, we had a great sea view from our room. Very handy to get the ferry to Miyajima

View from the room was spectacular. Miyajima island and the famous torii gates. Breakfast was an amazing buffet, one of the best we tried in Japan. Private onsen was fantastic.

Really conveniently located to Miyajima for a day trip. Traditional room and bed which is a nice experience. The private onsen was epic and worth paying the extra to experience on the trip. Also enjoyed the boat ride over to Miyajima thought the commentary is all Japanese. Views of the island and water were excellent particularly for sunset. Good size room.
