Arrivals Between 2.00pm And 4.00pm:
Guests who arrive between the hours of 2.00pm and 4.00pm will be able to wait and relax onsite in our communal area and are able use the facilities until our reception reopens at 4.00.pm.
Arrivals After 10.00pm:
If you are arriving after 10.00pm, you will need to contact our friendly staff on 24 hours prior to your arrival and you will be provided with all the necessary information and instructions on how to access your room key and find your room.LICENSED ALCOHOL PREMISES:
We are a fully licensed alcohol venue with a bar and café onsite. NO BYO alcohol is permitted to be brought into the Jackaroo Treehouse at any time.IDENTIFICATION
* A valid government issued photo I.D must be presented by every guest staying at the Jackaroo at check-in.
* A valid credit card must be presented by every guest staying at the Jackaroo Treehouse at check-in.CANCELLATIONS
1 to 5 people – Cancellations and modifications must be emailed by 23.59pm 3 days (72 hours) prior to the reservation arrival date.
6 or more people – Cancellations and modifications must be emailed by 23.59pm 7 days (168 hours) prior to the reservation arrival date.
* Late cancellations and modifications made inside the stated notification period will be charged for the total price of the full reservation. No refund will be given.
*No-shows will be charged for the total price of the full reservation. No refund will be given.
*All booking cancellations and modifications must be made via email only.
*Cancellations and modifications via phone will not be accepted.
*For all reservations made through a 3rd party OTA or travel agent and not directly made through the Jackaroo Treehouse website, the guest must contact the 3rd party OTA or travel agent to make any cancellation or modification.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The coziest little rainforest hostel. We booked our stay in Mission beach quite late, so we checked in without having a lot of expectations, but was positively surprised. We booked the private room with a balcony included, which was the perfect setting for a morning coffee. We experienced not just wallabies hanging around in the garden at midnight, but a cassowary came by the very next morning. This made the stay unforgettable!

We needed a place to stay for one night while travelling and this was perfect. We had a family room for the four of us and used the shared bathrooms. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning kept us cool. It was as we expected for the price. We didn't purchase anything from the cafe/bar but there was a good selection of food and drinks.

good spacious room for 4 people. lot's of light tropical surroundings very friendly staff even though no restaurant, they have a nice bar with coffee, drinks and snacks

It’s very remote, I got picked up from the bus stop immediately which was good, but did not have time to buy groceries so ended up having to be limited to the options in the cafe. The food was good, but the whole time I felt trapped there as the bus does not run that often.

Friendly staff and a big clean kitchen area. The communal areas also looked like a nice place to relax and meet other travellers.

Relaxed vibe and beautiful setting in the middle of the rainforest- a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. Good social seating area above the kitchen with lots of benches, tables, hammocks etc., well equipped kitchen area and nice pool overlooking the forest. Rooms have AC (although this did not work the first night). Bathrooms basic but clean.

Owner was efficient and helpful during check in. Room was clean and tidy. Kitchen was well organised & well equipped. Bathrooms were clean. Very nice swimming pool area and upstairs communal lounge/dining.

The location is stunning and the shuttle service made it easy to get around. We even saw some cassowaries in the morning.
