Sigrun “Fantastic place in the mountains”

We loved to stay in the old town of Miswah with a stunning view into the valley from the big terraces. Great access through the rocks, up to the top floor. The food was cooked locally from different families and very tasty. Niam and the team were very friendly and helpful and made the stay very relaxing. Every evening a smell of frankincense wafted through the house. We booked the biggest room with bathroom. The room, as the whole house, is partly an old structure but with the additions and changes don’t show much tender loving care. Light switches in the room are in the corner of the bed. If you want to turn them off before you leave the room you have to climb over it. But a good bed! The bathroom was very dodgy, no toilet paper and the seat was on its last screw so loose and hardly attached. Hot water and a reasonable shower though. So the basics and the charming team were good and we enjoyed that, the design and upkeep needs some attention. The trail through the palm gardens down through the valley and up the other side is stunningly beautiful, a true paradise.
