We had a truly memorable stay at this humble and charming inn, perfectly located in the culturally rich village of Al Misfah. It’s a peaceful spot with deep historical roots, and the inn itself is run by one of the five original families from the area, adding an authentic touch to the whole experience. The location is ideal for exploring local gems—Al Hoota Cave is just 15 minutes away, and the impressive Bahla Fort is a 30-minute drive. From the inn, you can also walk along the traditional falaj irrigation channels, which give you a real sense of the village’s heritage. Our family room was incredibly spacious, and the view from the inn—overlooking the lush date palm oasis in the valley—was absolutely breathtaking. The food deserves a special mention too: both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, with home-cooked Omani and Middle Eastern dishes that truly hit the spot. What made the stay even more special was the warmth and hospitality of the people. Everyone was so kind and polite. The free daily guided tours run by the family were a lovely way to understand the cultural significance of the area and see the efforts being made to preserve it. We wouldn’t hesitate to return—this place is a rare gem for anyone looking to connect with Oman’s history, nature, and warm-hearted people.

Great experience and feel to the hospitality inn. Kids really liked the quaint and rustic feel of the place. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Beautiful views from the terrace. Great price for a family room that slept 5 of us.

Great location in historic village surrounded by beautiful oasis. Warm welcome from hospitable host Abdullah. Extensive dinner and breakfast, freshly prepared and lots of choice. Good value.

Very quirky place hidden away in a maze of small streets which is great! Staff so friendly and helpful and superb view from the top balcony. Great food for breakfast and evening meal.

This place was absolutely incredible. Right in the centre of town, the building has a gorgeous view over the rest of Misfah, with a couple of trails around the falaj and the date farms very close by. There's a personal tour from the owner of the hotel in the morning to his old family home at no cost, which is a gem just stuck in time and really shows what it was like to grow up in Misfah. The room was really beautiful too, carved out in the rocks and with a lot of space. The bathroom was a bit tricky to get into (some steep steps) but all very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options were also very good.
