I think this is a much better hotel than the reviews on booking. It is really close to the beach - 10m to the sand + 10m easy walk through the Zouk restaurant. You can get back to your room in a minute if you forgot something. View of a big tree and sideways of the sea (from the common area). New bathroom, new room, bed, new A/C wide room, balcony. Good breakfast. Hotel team can organizing the trips (ex. for whales) and can arrange transport for you. After many nights spent in guesthouses Ella and Kandy, this was finally a real hotel with the european standard. Also 30m from the main street and shops and restaurant.

We did not eat breakfast at the venue As there were numerous other areas to eat and have a sea view. The location is extremely good as it was very central with lots of areas to explore without taking a tuk tuk or uber etc.

You get what you pay for, the AC and fan were good, we were on the top floor so we could see the sea, but this was a budget room and some of the only ones with this view. A lot of stairs to climb if you don’t mind this. Breakfast was lots of fruit, toast marinade and an omelette which was decent. Hotel is not beach front, have to walk 100 meters and sneak through a beach bar/restaurant to get to the beach

Great location, large room with balcony and very clean, excellent AC, comfortable bed with musquito net, one minute walk through the bars to beach. Owener and staff were very friendly and helpful.
