The fine print
The card used to make the reservation must be presented at check-in. Guests that are making a reservation on behalf of another guest, must contact the property once the booking has been made.The Garden Spa facilities at the sister hotel, Minster Mill, are available at an extra fee of GBP 25 per person, unless guests have booked a spa treatment, in which case it is complimentary. Use of The Garden Spa facilities is limited to up to 1.5 hours per person.

The property was absolutely stunning, combining Victorian elegance with modern touches done in a thoughtful way. The shower was huge, the bed was comfortable and the refreshments were lovely. A few suggestions - a door was creaking a lot when we first arrived and we were a little disconcerted to find that the door out to the back area from our room was left unlocked. In addition, the cushions and blanket on the bed were very scratchy which wasn't great due to sensory issues. Other than that, everything was well-kempt and just beautiful. Breakfast was delicious (the bacon was more burnt than crispy but that's down to personal preference I suppose) and the server was lovely. Thanks for making the night before my wedding so special.

I have visited The Old Swan many times over the years. I love the ambience and also the old building. My visits here are now about reminiscence and memories while enjoying good food in comfortable surroundings.

The room was comfortable clean and full of character. Breakfast at the Mill was a beautiful setting and an excellent meal. Compliments to the chief on his excellent scrambled eggs.v
