My room no 11 was very noisy with water running through the pipes and a hissing sound constantly. I explained the situation to the lady and gentleman on the desk, they were very helpful, professional and friendly, they changed my room without any fuss after that my stay was great. The facilities were very good especially the pool. The location of the property was ideal.

Yes, parts of the hotel are dated but it's an old building..everything else was great for our 3 night stay. Sunday lunch was excellent and a very reasonable price. Pool and jacuzzi and staff were great.

We loved the friendly staff. We were so very grateful for an upgraded room, we want to thank the management for that, it had a lovely view and it was just what we needed for a relaxing stay. The evening meal was very tasty (compliments to the chef).

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break at the Northfield Hotel. Such a relaxing time. A beautiful hotel. Great position, just a short distance from the seafront and shops. Spacious rooms. The meals were exceptional. Top class and plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the leisure pool area. A real treat. I cannot fault the Northfield. Great value for money
