A beautiful lodge set in stunning surroundings, fantastic if you love birds. Perfect place to relax and food was great.

Absolutely fantastic lodge, our room had amazing views on Mindo the swimming pool is gorgeous and warm. Lovely restaurant with great views and kolibri all around.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent. We were watching the hummingbirds zipping to and from the feeder. At night, we stayed in the restaurant until the last bird decided to sleep. The cabin/suite has 2 outdoor siting areas which is nice. It is lovely to wake up in the morning and look at the valley through the floor to roof glass windows.

Amazing views, food of the restaurant is very good. We loved the bungalow that we booked, a two story house with three bedrooms and an amazing view on the Mindo vallee and the cloud forest. We experienced our stay as very special, being in the middle of nature. We saw tucans, humming birds and other colourful birds passing right by our window. There are hiking trails that you can follow, inside the grounds of the hotel, for instance to go to the river. The swimming pools are beautiful, but quite cold.. But definitely not a reason to avoid this hotel. It felt like a very special experience staying here. I would have loved to stay a bit longer (we were only there for one day). The staff also deserve a special compliment. We arrived quite late, with three young kids (age 1, 5 and 9), but we still wanted to eat something (but not in the restaurant as the kids needed to sleep). As a service, they offered to take the food to our bungalow, which was actually a bit far from the reception. The breakfast was delicious, the quantity and quality was very good. The staff was super friendly. Thank you for the great stay!
