We loved our stay at Sintropia. From the friendly staff, to the views, hot water in the showers, delicious meals, and family-style dining, we had a wonderful visit. The tour of the property was a highlight, as it was unexpected and completely outside of the busy touristic center. Luis provided a fun and challenging adventure off the beaten path.

We absolutely loved our stay at Minca Sintropia. The location and views are incredible- like nowhere else we have ever stayed. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful, and the food we had was all delicious. We were given lots of useful info including recommendations for things to do and walks / waterfalls in the area. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Minca!

Just lovely. The views really are worth it and the peace and quiet. The jeep or mototaxi up is fun and then it is a 10min walk uphill but not too bad. Food is great and reasonably priced seemings as you are in the middle of nowhere. Luis gave us a very informative tour of the grounds and coffee. They have 2 very cheeky parrots and a sweet little dog. Room was clean good size and comfortable bed

The views are incredible, sitting watching the birds and being surrounded by the beautiful plants! Waking up to sunrise was so special. Mari made lovely breakfast and dinners.

Anything else than a 10.0 for Luis & Mari would be understatement. This was one of the best stays we‘ve both seen in 2 decades of traveling. The hosts did everything to make our stay as comfy as possible and so we‘ve had a fabulous time, enjoyed the offered cuisine, with a hilarious view over Minca, down to the sea. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends or parents if they‘d like to experience Columbia with it‘s beauty, home made coffee or regional food.

This is a magical place -a special place like we don't see every day. I wish we could have stayed a month.... it's one of my top top top favourite hotels. Room spacious and tastefully decorated room. Very comfortable bedding. Luxury comfort in the middle of this vegetation! The views of the mountains and Santa Marta are enchanting, the sunsets incredible. It's obviously very quiet. The cuisine is excellent. The staff are very attentive. The atmosphere is very warm thanks to Luis, Mari, the little dog and the 2 parrots. These little creatures are so funny! it's a joy to watch them in the morning as you have breakfast. Luis organised a superb 2-hours walk around the property to discover the different plantations. He's so passionate about nature ! He's a very inspiring person! My son planted a tree with him and I hope to come back one day! Luis and his partner have turned it a paradise. THANKS LUIS !

Sintropia is such a beautiful accomodation! We loved everything about our stay here and would definitely come back. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated, we directly felt like being at home. The balcony also is spacious with two hammocks and a table with chairs and has marvellous views of Santa Marta, the sea, the mountains, and the sunset. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious. There are two cute parrots and a very cuddly dog. The premises are great - there is a lookout over the mountains with some chairs, a beautiful garden and many birds. One evening, the staff even lighted a campfire for us. We would definitely come back, one of our best accomodations so far!

Luis and Mari are so so lovely. They spoke slow Spanish so my wife could understand and were super helpful. Luis also sorted out our laundry in town for us without extra cost - after a 5 day hike!! The food that was cooked at the finca was made with love as well. The views were incredible and it was a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend - just lovely people.
