This is my second time staying at this hotel. Everyone and everything at the hotel will go extra mile to make sure you have a nice stay. Very accommodating to requests.

We arrived by car and the staff was already waiting at the entrance to help carry our luggage into the ryokan. We were greeted by another staff and given a tour around the ryokan, before showing us our room. We booked the one with a private onsen bath, but there were also public indoor and outdoor baths. By 6pm we went to the dinner which is a kaiseki-ryōri, the meal was exquisite and delicious. The same goes for the breakfast next morning. We visited in mid-December and there was a light snow in the morning. It was an amazing experience to bath in the outdoor onsen in the snow!

It was very relaxing, cozy and restful. The staff was very attentive and responsive. We were impressed by the amenities which allowed guests to experience Japanese culture, such as sake drinking at the indoor fireplace and library. Due to the bad weather, we were not able to use observatory, which was fine. The Onsen quality is great. My mom really enjoyed bathing in both indoor and outdoor spas. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was decent as well. Overall, it was very satisfactory. Shout out to the staff.

Staff were very pleasant and accommodating when we had a travel delay and let them know in advance, made us feel very comfortable and welcome when we arrived. Delicious food and great variety of private and shared/outdoor onsens, stargazing with telescope was a bonus too, very comfortable and warm room. Very scenic setting only 5 mins drive from Kurokawa onsen, highly recommend.

The food was fantastic!! And the staff were super hospitable and were very accommodating - from picking me up from the Kurokawa Onsen Tourist Center to helping me enquire about bus seating availability. They've kept their entire compound in good condition, and there are so many facilities and experiences to utilise that I don't think a night was enough. It's truly a wonderful place to be to relax and enjoy serenity.

The hotel is neat and clean. Dinner and breakfast are impressive. Onsens are huge and beautiful, and they provide private onsen also. There are interesting activities such as stargazing and saka party.

This ticked all my boxes as a traditional ryokan experience. The staff were helpful, the room spacious, there were a good selection of onsen baths both indoor and outdoor ,the private baths did not need to be booked in advanced which was good. The food was varied and plentiful. The separate fire room with free sake after dinner was a nice touch. Great attention to detail all round. Would recommend highly.
