Beautiful location on the top of a mountain. Very spacious log cabins with a private onsen in your room. Excellent dinners and breakfast, definitely worth the cost especially as you are in a very rural location so it would have been difficult to try to find somewhere else for dinner. The staff were exceptional, polite, friandly, helpful, just outstanding!. We made the stupid mistake of leaving our passports in the room safe and didn't realize until we were 3 hours away. These were forwarded to our next hotel and arrived the following day. Outstanding service. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The best place I have stayed in Japan. The Ryokan is situated on top of a mountain & the chalet is well insulated from the cold. It snowed a few nights but totally warm & toasty inside. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful, and it made my stay a rememberable one.

The isolated location of the hotel makes it so special. Each of us has our own cabin with individual hot bath. There is nothing around except nature. Both dinner & breakfast provided were in large portion & delicious. All of us had a good time & we love it there

The staff were so professional. Wagyu beef shabu shabu was awesome, good qty of beef & delicate dinner setting & service. The hotel ambience is so natural & nice. Everything including the toilet paper was so delicately prepared

Special cultural experience. We enjoyed the baths with source hot water in the bath room and outside in the personal yard. the breakfast was fine. The price is bit high, but it's standard for onsen ryokan. A must for the silence and cultural exdperience lovers

So homey and warm. Friendly and helpful staff. Super friendly for pet! Comfy bed and relaxing onsen. Food was really delicious!
