We chose this hotel for its perfect location to the port to visit the Aeolian islands. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by all the staff with a friendly manner and a big smile. Even though we could not really speak Italian they went out of their way to help us and communicate the best they could. Would like to give a special mention to Simona who from the very beginning from booking back in Australia, she was very kind and helpful. Always answering my many questions. Every morning in the breakfast area a beautiful Mariella greeted us so warmly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and waited on us with whatever we wanted. I would 100% recommend Hotel La Bussola. We hope to come back one day. Thank you Paul & Sandra

The position was close to Port to Catch ferrys to the islands. The staff was amazing, couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were great.

Our experience was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. They helped us find and recommend local attractions and even contacted the cruise company late at night when we realized we had left something behind. On the day of our checkout, when we struggled to find a taxi, they did everything possible to assist us. The facilities were all in top-notch condition. Overall, an amazing experience!

The hotel is strategically located by the port and close to restaurants and cafes. We received room upgrades, and the rooms were nice and clean, complete with all the necessary toiletries. The staff was very kind and helpful. We didn't have time to try the breakfast as we left early in the morning. Very good value for the money, strongly recommended.

This was the best hotel. We had a stop over prior to heading to the Aeolian Islands and the team couldn’t have been more helpful….both prior to checking via messages and when we arrived the team couldn’t do enough for us. Paid parking was available for our trip to the islands also which made everything so easy. As we are non-Italian speakers we really appreciated the team’s communication with us. Walking distance to everywhere in Milazzo.
