Lovely staff - who were always willing to help. Hotel is in a peaceful location on the edge of the town - it takes about 10 mins - walking- to get to the main square in Middelburg.

The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection. The building was architecturally delightful! Our rooms were very comfortable and the location was convenient for walking into the town centre. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The splendid hotel is situated ion the outskirts of Middelburg and is an easy walk into town. It takes 10/15 minutes to reach the centre of Middelburg. Check in was easy and the staff were very pleasant. Our room was on the ground floor at the rear of the original old hotel building. It was advertised as having a terrace opening out from the bedroom. The hotel itself is a grand building and the dining room for breakfast is set on the front of the hotel overlooking the lake. The outside terrace is open to take breakfast there if the weather allows

Good location less than 10 min walk into town across from the river. Very pretty location. Breakfast good with scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, cereal, cheeses. Room very clean and cash back if you don’t have it cleaned every day.

A beautiful building I. A fantastic location pleasant walk into middelburg centre. Good car park with ev charger. Friendly efficient staff. Great breakfast in lovely room. Such a change from dull chain hotels.
