“Relaxing stay on the budget”

It is just a few bungalows in a large garden setting. Plenty of space to relax in the shadow of the trees. The staff takes care of the surroundings. The breakfast served on site was good. Not much variation though. They were able to modify the menu to provide a gluten free option. The location is close to the beach, if you want quiet you can go more to the south and it is almost empty. There is a mangrove forest close by and sand banks with low tide. Some restaurants in the area and village shops are within walking distance. In the evenings there is a BBQ on the beach, bonfires and live music (not every day). The nearest town, Pingwe, offers a bit more restaurants and shops and a very nice beach. It can be reached by a local bus for 500 rupiah. It gets very dark if you go outside at night. A chance for photographing the night sky. Just remember about the mosquito repellent.

Lovely place, cute little bungalow to ourselves, lovely staff, food, ambiance and having a pool right outside was fantastic, and it was less then a minute walk to the beach, I loved all the hammocks and swinging beds through the Luscious green jungle like grounds! So peaceful, the staff even sourced us a boat to take us across the water to our next hotel so we didn’t have to get a taxi to drive all the way round! Which would have taken over an hour and cost double!

First of all, the service by the staff is 100. They are very attentive to detail and always willing to go an extra mile to assist. The food? 10/10…the staff is very fluent in English which made communication very easy. They also have a generator incase of power outage which is very common in Zanzibar , 🥹so thoughtful of the property. The linen was very clean and the rooms are very well kept. My 5 yr old son had to walk to the chef and compliment him on his delicious pasta dish. I am definitely coming back.

We felt very comfortable and at ease. The crew very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. A big thank you to the entire staff! We highly recommend!
