It meets basic needs. The room is a little tired with no hot water kettle which is a bit disappointing as I like to drink hot water when it’s cold at night. The location is pretty central with walking distance to the historical Centre. The staff has limited English language skills.

This might be one of the worst stays I’ve had—not outright terrible, but just barely passable. If you choose this place, be prepared to be very flexible. Yes, it’s a budget-friendly hotel, but even at this price, I expected at least basic hygiene. The bathroom was filthy—hair bundled in the shower, stains on the floor, and an overall sense of neglect. The shower barely functioned, more of a slow drip than anything remotely usable. The only real plus? The rooms are massive, much larger than standard hotel rooms. But that’s where the positives end. No daylight, dirty old sheets, a musty-smelling carpet, and not even basic utilities like a kettle for tea or coffee. Breakfast was a letdown. For 12 euros, you’d get far better even in an average European hotel. There was some decent fruit, but beyond that? Cheap cereals, plastic-wrapped bread rolls, an unappetizing salami omelet, and some mystery pork bits. Filter coffee was only served by waitstaff, with no other hot beverages available. Add to that the overwhelming crowds from group tours, and it was far from a relaxing start to the day. Service was equally disappointing. At check-in, no greetings or basic information were given, and throughout the stay, no staff member was particularly friendly. The final straw? At checkout, they accidentally wrote on my backpack with a marker, leaving a huge stain that wouldn’t come off—and they didn’t even apologize. If location is your only priority, this place works, as it’s within walking distance of all the old city’s tourist spots. But honestly, for the same price, you can definitely find better. Not recommended.

Property is in Centro Histórico so is really handy for any activities that you have in that area.
