The room was clean and reasonably sized. The premises are a bit dated and would need some renewing, for instance, carpets on the alleways look rather old. The staff is kind and efficient, even if when we arrived we sat at the lobby for one hour and nobody ever came to ask if we wanted a drink.

A working museum, highly individual, beautifully kept, a great and original piece of history in the heart of Mexico City. I seem to remember the Concierge staff member who offered us a free tour of this historic hotel was “ Senor Ariel” .. whatever his name he was exceptional!

I liked everything about this hotel. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. It is like a trip back in time. It is impressive. We also received a guided tour of the entire hotel, which was in English. It is a place with a lot of history. We love it!

This was an amazing stay. The hotel is historic in Mexico City and retains an old-style vibe in both decor and service. Staff is extremely attentive and always makes you feel welcomed. Rooms are large and comfortable with old wooden furniture. The location in Zona Rosa is perfect for walking and exploring different neighborhoods in every direction. Excellent breakfast options.

A historic hotel which kept its charme. The hotel is located in the middle of the leasure time zone which could result in some fiesta noise at night. But that is, if at all, the only point to be considered. The positive side on this is that Reforma, the park and even the historic city center is in walking distance, which could be, keeping in mind the Mexico City traffic, a very important advantage. Excellent breakfast in the hotel as well in the restaurant that it located at the hotel entrance.
