An ideal overnight stay in a modern hotel Comfortable bed and a good shower. Restaurants within walking distance and an early morning tuktuk was arranged to get me to the station for the 7.10 train.

This is a modern style hotel. Fine for an overnight stop. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Helpful staff. Somebody there 24/7 ... but you may have to wake them early morning as we did! Don't think there was anybody else there but us. On the map it looks like it's isolated but it's not. Short walk to local restaurant but english there was sparse. Go the dosas. Impressive. Nearby the restaurant one of the best presented bulk dried fruit & nut shops I have ever seen. Photo below.
