The lodge and where it was. Easy to go around and that was definitely close to the hot pools. Staff members were great too.

Warm welcoming room after a days skiing. Ample room for our family and our friends a couple of doors away with decent size fridge and kettle in each. Large dining area where we managed to have good meals even though only a microwave available (thanks to fridge in room and forward planning). Friendly. Easy going. Bill was super helpful. Lots of use of the pool table and uno games by the fire.

Bill is an exceptional host and made our very large group feel very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble and he was very accommodating and friendly! Communication was great leading up to our trip. The lodge and chalets are very comfy and clean and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose barkers lodge when travelling to methvan again! Thanks for everything Bill! Loved that it was nice and warm and both rooms had their own bathrooms. Super close to town which is also awesome.

Location is very central to ski bus and town centre The manager went the extra mile, more than once, he is worth his weight in gold
