“We liked it enough to book again on our last night before the flight”

We had a room on the top floor with a very nice balcony. The location is great for traveling to Venice — there's a bus stop just by the hotel. We rented a car, but did not use it much because of the difficulties and danger of parking around the islands. The staff was friendly, helped us with modifying the booking through the Booking.com support.

The hotel: direct bus connection to Venice in the morning (after 9:20 am you have to switch bus at Mestre Station). Breakfast served in a nearby hotel is somewhat simple, but it's good value for the money: coffee, musli, youghurt, bread, ham, cheese, jam, croissant etc. for additional 7€. 24 hour desk with service minded and talkative personnel. The room: many reviews threatened with bedbugs, but fortunately we didn't encounter any. Bed is wide and hard (that's how I personally like it). The room was cleaned every day, bed was made and towels were changed. There is hot water in the shower, at least in the morning and evening, when most people need it. Conclusion: all in all it's an alright value for the money, since everything else available in the area (with the cancellation option which is important for me personally) was far more expensive.

Friendly staff, location at 40 minutes walk in a straight line from Mestre train station. Close to Lidl :) The hotel is located at 10 minutes walk from the bus stop number 2 that goes to Venice (1,5€ is the price for a journey, you can pay inside the bus with the card)
