All the tour was excellent 👌 from the start to the end we arrived and parked in our private parking at the camp office then started our camel tour to camp. We were able to enjoy impressive sunset and stars because the sky was very very clear. The team welcomed us at the camp for a Berber tea and later we received our luxury tent in the Sahara desert. I thought we were staying in a desert Palace not in a Camp all was available for us to make sure we enjoy our Merzouga desert experience. Thanks again said and Hassan for everything We liked the experience

Luxury camp in Merzouga and night under stars 🤩 the Best travel experience. We really enjoyed our time in Merzouga Desert, The bathroom is very clean and well equipped,The camel trekking in Merzouga desert was really Great we enjoyed sunset and sunrise

This place (and Merzouga in general) was the highlight of my trip. I didn’t book any tours, but for my goal, which was to spend time in the desert and be alone with my thoughts, it was perfect. The difference between big cities of Morocco and Merzouga is enormous. Walking around the city here feels open, safe and beautiful (in a calm desert sort of way). I booked two nights at Majestic Desert Camp, and tried to find it myself by walking through the dunes. This was very difficult even following my GPS, and I ended up spending money on their jeep service instead. If you want to walk, I recommend you don’t. It’s far, it’s dangerously hot, and the map location is not right. The host contacted me by WhatsApp, so make sure you have internet. If you arrive by night bus and are not being picked up by jeep, know that the sun rises about an hour after that, it can feel a bit scary but just walk around for an hour and when the sun rises you’ll feel safe. I expected to check in at 12:00, but was told it’s too warm to go to camp, and was given a room in a beautiful and simple hotel with a pool. They said, “Rest now, we leave at 7PM”, which is when the sun goes down. I didn’t mind the wait and slept most of it. At the camp, there was 3-course dinner (not included), Amazigh (berber) drums/dancing by a campfire and breakfast (included). Dinner for a vegetarian was really good. Starter: Pasta sallad (not amazing, save your appetite for next meal) Main course: Tajine-style meal w. aubergine, potato, carrots and other vegetables. Really loved it. Dessert: Two types of melons. The tents are very robust with a lock on the door and it has electricity/lights. The tent creaks in the wind at night, but it’s cozy. The staff are very friendly/laid-back and interested in talking. This is a simple but beautiful experience. If you are scared to go because of the 40 degree heat, don’t overthink it. Just go!
