We stayed in Courtland Terrace for 4 nights in order to attend a family funeral in Merthyr. Excellent location. Probably one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Very comfortable, bed was amazing, I wanted to take it home with me. Excellent cleanliness. Enough crockery and cutlery for two people. View was amazing. Merthyr town, Aberdare mountain, views up to Cyfarthfa Park and beyond to the Beacons. Although it had a balcony with two chairs, the weather was too cold to sit outside, because the house is on the side of a small hill, the balcony was planked with small gaps between. The apartment is on the ground floor, entered from street level but has a basement apartment, with small patio area. The owners are lovely, Jamie is from Cornwall and spoke to us from his building next door. His partner Kathryn is from Swansea and runs the Plas Coffi bar in town, which serves very tasty cakes. We had a great conversation with her. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely clean apartment and comfy bed. The apartment got warm and cosy quickly once we switched the heating on. Liked it that we could park on the drive. The hosts were great and able to help with a change of date due to bad weather and we were lucky that they could accommodate an earlier check in on our day of arrival.

I would like to say do not ho there, so it is free next time I want to book it. The accommodation is just perfect. The bed is comfy, the flat has everything you might need and it is kept very clean. To be honest, I was gobsmacked by the quality of this flat.

The furnishings were modern and clean, and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed for a seamless stay.
