Centrally located for exploring Mérida. Interesting old building with old fashioned furnishings and large bedrooms. Lush greenery in internal courtyard. Quiet spaces to relax. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Great restaurants nearby.

Loved the location and the charm of the hotel. .Staff were all lovely and the breakfasts were really good. We were sorry not to have stayed for longer - we were only there for 2 days and out on long trips on both days. We would have liked more time to explore Merida and to chill by the delightful pool bar in the hotel.

The hotel is located in the historic center of Merida, and couldn’t be in a better location to explore. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and was cleaned well every morning (even when we accidentally brought lots of sand!). The breakfast is freshly cooked to order every morning and the owner, Tom, couldn’t be happier to share incredible recommendations for restaurants, cenotes, ruins, and anything you could want to do on the peninsula. The pool is warm and very clean and they have a small pool bar which we didnt get to experience (because we came during the lowest tourist season). We couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Beautiful classic renovation of a former mansion house with lovely details especially the floor tiling’s and lights Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Booking tours. Getting laundry done with gracious hospitality

Luz en Yucatan is a wonderful place to stay in Merida. Perfect location, beautiful space and nice pool, lovely staff and good breakfast. We wanted to go on a day trip and they made it super easy for us. Thank you for a lovely stay.
