We especially enjoyed the lovely lush and well kept pool area where we could have food and drinks served from the restaurant. Perfect to lounge during hot daytime hours as Merida is very much a city to experience in the evening. The building needs thorough renovation but is still charming.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was extra big, clean and had a nice terrace overlooking the main street. There was no noise coming from outside. The location is perfect. Just two blocks from the Cathedral, shops and restaurants. The guitar player and singer in the mornings at the terrace was an extra bonus. We really enyoyed his music.

In general we had a good experience, the hotel is very well located, close to downtown, it has parking (that you will pay extra 50 pesos per day), and it has good vibe.

I love the vibe of the place and the location is excellent, the rooms are big but kind of old, it has a frigobar very convenient to keep water and other things fresh.
