The food was excellent. Irish stew vennison pie, and Sunday roast. All staff very friendly & helpful. Log fire in the main bar most welcome. Room comfortable.

All of it. Staff food bed helpfulness (I'm disabled). Planning to return spring 2025! Brilliant atmosphere and special thanks to Pauline and Lee. Missing you already, as yanks would say! From Geoff and Pam, and thanks for birthday card and flowers xx

The Manager was excellent. Very helpful and went over and above to accommodate us and provided the best of welcomes. The breakfast was very good quality and cooked well. Perhaps an extra rasher of bacon or some beans would be a good thing but we love our breakfast so maybe we're just being greedy! The rooms were very clean with plenty of tea, coffee etc. Bar was very old and quaint with a lovely fire and beautiful xmas tree. Lots of board games etc provided. We would stay again.
