Hotel Overview

Furnished in a traditional country-house style, this small, family-run 4-star hotel is located at the entrance to Melk, within 1,3 km to Melk centre, Melk Abbey, and within 500 metres to the A1 motorway. Hotel Wachau includes an award-winning restaurant and offers free Wi-Fi.
Guests can benefit from barrier-free access to all floors, directly from the underground car park or from the free private parking in front of the hotel entrance.
The restaurant Wachauer Stube was awarded 14 points by the Gault Millau and is also recommended by other restaurant guides. Specialities include fish and organic beef dishes, as well as game specialities from Melk Abbeyâs hunting grounds. Guests can also dine on the Wachau Hotelâs terrace in fair weather.

great family hotel. Very clean, large and comfortable room with a large terrace. Very quite area, next to the motorway so easy access if you are travelling. The restaurant has a well selected menu and includes Bio farmed meets and ingredients from the family Bio farm. Very recommended hotel
