staff were wonderful. flinders lane location is excellent, room was comfortable and spacious. bathrooms need updating, shower was poor. As the central heating was being serviced during our stay, the hotel provided a portable heater which was fine. also as it was my friends 50th birthday, they sent up a complimentary bottle of french bubbles- which was very thoughtful and delightful. The complementary non alcohol mini bar was also a nice touch.

The fact that we could leave our bags before the check in time and that when we checked in, they were in the room. Complimentary mini bar, water and coffee/tea availability and yes, breakfast downstairs which we did did not have.

Adelphi is iconic in Melb and I had high expectations. What I found was a very old not 5 star hotel. Was very underwhelmed with room details and even the rooftop pool also famous in melbourne was so dated and old looking pool and surrounds.

Location spot on. Hotel reception is funky. Staff extremely lovely, especially Irish receptionist. Welcome drinks, free snacks in room, coffee machine a bonus & ice cold drinks FREE. Barrista coffee & beautiful pastries included in stay. 100% stay again. Bonus-rooftop pool!
