The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, including by responding very quickly to questions about the booking before I arrived. The hotel is very comfortable with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar and dining area. Local people meet at the hotel and this adds to the pleasant atmosphere. There was a good selection on the menu for dinner, and breakfast served at our table was very good. There is a very comfortable lounge area for guests. Parking at the hotel is very convenient and free.

Everything was excellent, from the selection of food at the continental breakfast to the delicious choices on offer for the evening meal. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and really keen to make your stay a memorable experience. The hotel is located in the centre of a beautiful town and near to a selection of shops, bars and restaurants although, like the locals, we preferred to stay and eat here and as it is always busy we're sure to book our evening meals. You won't get service like this in a standard hotel as it is small enough to treat all their customers as friends.

In a really beautiful area, with a gorgeous square and church right outside. The hotel itself is lovely too, with a lovely pub/bar downstairs (we ended up coming down for a drink after check-in cos it just looked so lovely). We stayed for a Toverland trip, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re going there. Very nearby! The staff were so kind and friendly, we had a good chat with them. And they also ran the afore-mentioned bar. You can tell the locals love it there because of them. Worth noting we were a group of 3, this room was fantastic for that situation as there was a separate 2nd bedroom. I can’t fault this place and it was so reasonable cost-wise too. I’ll absolutely be back, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else for Toverland.
