Resort Overview

Built around a 400-year old winery, the 5-star Vedema Resort overlooks the rolling vineyards, the Aegean Sea, and the colourful sunsets. This superbly located resort offers true luxury in a beautiful, bright and minimalist design.
Vedema Resort is situated in the medieval village of Megalohori, 7 km from Fira town. It has 74 fully furnished apartments and villas with private verandas, dining rooms and every modern comfort. All of them have beautiful romantic beds.
Facilities at the resort include a swimming pool, big open-air hot tub, spa, fitness centre, boutique, conference room, jewellery shop, minibus transfers and valet parking. Guests have access to a private beach 3 km away with free towels, sun beds, umbrellas and bar service.
American Buffet Breakfast or Greek breakfast is served daily in the dining area. Creative Mediterranean cuisine is served in the 3 on-site restaurants Pergola, Alati and Prive prepared by the hotel’s awarded Chef. Wine tasting can be arranged at the Wine Canava Cellar.

This suite boasts polished wooden shutters throughout paying homage to the native Santorini style. The bedroom has a 32-inch LCD screen TV. An adjoining living space houses has sofas and a coffee table. The suite includes a 49-inch LCD screen with a selection of satellite channels, premium WiFi access and individually controlled air conditioning. The bathroom features a rainforest shower, bathtub, Korres toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and make-up mirror. Characteristic wooden doors open to a private terrace or patio that overlooks the resort gardens.

Includes a living area with a 49-inch flat screen TV with satellite channels. Additionally, WiFi access and individually controlled air conditioning are included. Forced cement floors lead to the bedroom, where a Luxury Collection bed is joined by a forced cement vanity and 32-inch flat screen TV. Some suites also provide a walk-in closet. French doors lead out to a furnished patio with a private hot tub overlooking the resort and vineyards. The marble bathroom is equipped with a rainforest shower, exclusive forced cement bathtub, makeup mirror, hairdryer and bathrobes.

In the living room, all the furnishings including a forced cement sofa and a dining area pay homage to the Cycladic architecture. Includes a 49 " flat screen TV with satellite channels, WiFi and individually controlled air conditioning. French-style doors open out onto a terrace offering garden, village and vineyard views Marble floors lead to 2 white bedrooms furnished with deluxe Luxury Collection beds and 32-inch flat screen TVs. The 2 marble-floored bathrooms feature bathtubs and showers along with makeup mirrors and hairdryers, Korres toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.

Features private outdoor pool and hot tub. Offering a private patio with sun loungers with distant views of the sea and the vineyards. Indoors, the villa offers natural wood furnishings, a fireplace, couch a 49-inch flat screen TV with satellite channels, WiFi, and individually controlled air conditioning. A dinner table and fridge are provided. The bathroom features marble floors, hydro-massage bathtub rainforest shower, bathrobes, slippers and Korres toiletries. In the white-washed bedroom there is a Luxury Collection bed and walk-in closet.

This century-old neoclassical mansion, originally a captain’s house, features a private pool on the patio, an open-air hot tub, a fully equipped kitchen and village views. Vedema was perfect in all aspects of our stay. The staff was so kind and the facilities of the hotel spotless. I have to give special thanks to the reception team for accommodating all our requests and being always there to suggest nice places to visit in the Island. The waiters and the cleaning staff was also very professional. Thanks Vedema resort we will surely come back again!!
