Our lobby will be under renovation, and it will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day, starting on January 24, 2024, and is estimated to be completed by April 30, 2024. Rooms were decent sized, toilets were slightly small but usable. The room we had, had a slight odour but was easily fixed when the toilet door was kept closed. The staffs were exceptionally friendly, and there are staffs working throughout the night. Location of the property was quite central and overall felt safe in this hotel.

We always stay here when in Medan. We love the staff members, they are always warm, welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is great and so is the food from the restaurant. The location is great too, close to the train station, to Centerpoint Mall and Pasar Ikan Lama, the textile market.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff allowed us a slightly earlier check in (12 noon) which was nice. Hotel can store luggage (arranged at the concierge). The hotel is close to Tjong A Fie Mansion and the Grand Mosque, which are the 2 key attractions in Medan. It was easy to take a Grab from Medan Airport to the hotel (local Uber equivalent; download and set up the Grab app beforehand and follow the instructions in the Grab app to get to the pick up area; Grab personnel at the pick up area gave us a discount code to make the booking). We also had a look at the airport train station option, but there was definitely a lack of footpaths from the train station to the hotel which would be inconvenient to navigate with luggage.
