Hotel was very clean and efficient on-line check in. Very nice breakfast. They have a bicycle shed for safe storage but it is located in a nearby hotel- few minutes walk away. Fast wifi.

Location is great! Bed very comfy. Working fan in wardrobe very appreciated. Daily room cleaning by a very friendly team. Easy phone-based access to hotel entrance and room. Responsive reception, even out of hours.

The location is just in the middle of the city, very convenient. There was no check-in needed, we could enter with our online keys sent to us by the hotel in advance. We also have never seen anyone at the reception which might be a minus. The room itself was ok.

3 Paardekens is a hotel which is perfect if you are trying to stay close to city center, for a relatively cheap price. I wouldn't say anything is cheap in Mechelen, but the prices only get higher as you get closer to city center, and 3 Paardekens manages to balance this well. The breakfast in the morning is one of my favorites, and the hotel puts you right in the middle of the city. It's location is close to Veemarkt, where you have plenty of options for public transportation, and close to many tourist attractions, bars and restuarants.

It is located right in the city center and very easy to find, room was very clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. "Electronic key" is a very nice thing. We did not have breakfast as we needed to leave very early, so can't comment on it.
