The ancient style of the Cottage and the space the renovations had created. But still with modern facilities and very comfortable. The hospitality of the hosts was wonderful and enjoyable. They were very friendly and offered all the help we needed. The welcome package was very generous and included both luxuries and essentials. It was a wonderful base for McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highly recommended.

We loved the large open plan. Everything for a two day stay was provided. Great location, close to the village, restaurants and wineries. John and Anne wonderful hosts. We would definitely visit again.

Breakfast provided was great and all utensils were provided and in good condition. Everything about the property was inviting and comfortable . Location was great a five minute drive to anything.

Love the open plan. Love the heritage of this old cottage and was just a wonderful place to stay. Ann and Johnny were wonderful, warm and friendly. Do yourself a favour and watch the documentary on the restoration of this beautiful place. It was an amazing transformation.

The breakfast supplies provided were wonderful. Plenty of options and more than we could possibly eat. The location was very convenient to McLaren Vale township, wineries, and the coast.

The breakfast was amazing, the views were awesome. The little fire made it so cozy and the great big bed was super comfy!
