This period property has been well maintained nice well managed garden area. Service was great very polite knowledge staff Will to assist. The hotel only do breakfast but have a number of local restaurants that can do take in so this worked out ok. Only a a short $15 journey into Stone Town which worked out well as traffic in Stone Town is crazy!

The hotel is spacious and the architecture suggests a particularly beautiful experience. The grounds and garden were actually very nice and the view of the sea was marvellous. The rooms were clean more or less spacious but not really special in terms of facilities. The breakfast was good but not exceptional as the reviews say. Basically what you get in almost every hotel in Zanzibar: coffee, milk, juice, a selection of eggs, fruit, pancakes etc. The journey to the hotel was very difficult due to construction work and extremely challenging for my driver, who was not familiar with the area. Unfortunately, this fact was not pointed out and the driver was not really helped despite calling the hotel several times. Also an email that was very important to me in advance was not answered. for comparison two other hotels that I also stayed at The communication could be better. Otherwise, the staff were helpful, friendly and endeavoured.
