Hotel Overview

Built in traditional Salzburg style, Hotel Stegmühlhof enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Mauterndorf, in the scenic Lungau region. It features a spa area and offers rooms with a mountain-view balcony and free WiFi.
The Großeck-Speiereck Ski Area is 2 km away, and the Obertauern Ski Area is 17 km away. The ski bus stops just 50 metres from the Stegmühlhof. Within a 5-minute drive, you can reach the golf course in St. Michael im Lungau.

Everything was great! Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and the sauna area was super nice and clean - perfect after a day of skiing. Plenty of parking places in front of the hotel and 2 bus stations very close by (only 2-3 minutes walking) for easy acces to the 4 ski regions in Lungau. Hotel is located in the central area of Mauterndorf, close to some very good tradional restaurants.

Hotel is so clean, rooms are spacious. It is classic “old” Austrian-alpine hotel but it is really clean, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is really good, there is something for everyone. Host Bernadette was so kind and helpful. There was big parking lot in front of a hotel. In a hotel you can use sauna for free and thy offer various massages to book.

Incredibly clean and very well run hotel. The host was super helpful and persuaded us to go up to the ski lifts in the cable car. We were short of time and nearly gave it a miss but what can I say. We did go up and were blown away by the scenery. It is a must!!! Thank you soon much for insisting we go up there. I wish now we would have had time to stay another night.
