Review We’ve been here twice, and the lodge is marvelous. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife, with really nice chalets and family rooms. The price is absolutely reasonable. However, the experience depends on the staff working during your stay. During our first visit, we had an amazing team, including one staff member named Mawe, who was very attentive and cared for all the customers, as did the others on his shift. Unfortunately, during our second visit, we were not as happy with the staff. The waitresses seemed more interested in chatting in the kitchen and checking their phones. They even ran out of butter for breakfast, and there wasn’t enough salt available. The pappa was already hard, and the steak was burned on the outside. We definitely recommend this lodge because it is beautiful, but we also encourage the owners to pay closer attention to the performance of their staff. There were significant differences between the shifts, and the service quality needs improvement.

The service from the staff was exceptional. The chef went above and beyond by preparing porridge for my daughter. Lulu, Wame, and Karabo ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our stay. I also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and the delicious beef seswa.

Location is great with huge private park to do safari walks! A lot of birds around. Staff is super friendly. Chalets are nice… if water and electricity work. But it needs a LOT of investing to make it up to standards, a lot!

The property is situated on an island so you can see some antelopes! The staff were welcoming and helpful!

Totally loved this place. It's not the poshest but still superb. The price is so good. The food was very tasty. Loved the fact that it's in a huge enclosed area, acres and acres of safe footpaths to walk around. It was very dry when we went in June after 2 years of hardly any rain. But the gardeners worked really hard to maintain the grounds which were spacious and quiet. I have to mention the resident guide who's name is Broken was just great. Went on a couple of trips with him. He really looked after us, his knowledge is incredible, very friendly, cares a lot about wildlife and so easy to get on with.
