Loved everything about this place. Just amazing. The Onsen was beautiful and was just perfect after spending a long day outside in the cold. The location is great as it is super close to the train station and easy to get around the area. The free soy noodles and ice cream is such a thoughtful and amazing touch.

The hotel room is spacious and the design is simple and neat, there was jelly provided in the fridge as a welcome snack too. The hot bath is enjoyable, but it was quite crowded at night. The snacks available at the bath was a nice touch. There also provided ramen as supper at their restaurant which was delicious. Breakfast has a good spread and we definitely enjoyed it very much, but it could also be crowded as there are tour groups who occupied quite a lot of seats.

Very nice combination of japanese europian traditions. Good onsen on the upper floor. It was very comfortable walking inside the hotel without street shoes.

Excellent breakfast selections and a nice supper. Rooms were comfortable and large. Enjoyed the popsicles at the onsen baths. The hotel is a 7 short minutes walk from the train and bus station and a very good location for staying, and a short walk away to visit the main attractions in town (museums, Castle, parks etc). Matsuomoto is quiet, pristine and an attractive base to explore the region. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The location was a few minutes walk from train station. Our luggage was waiting for us on arrival. Shoes had to be removed and put in lockers at reception. Refreshments were available to guests

Convenient location, it is about 5-10 minute walk from the train station and 15-20 minutes to the castle. The room I stayed was quite roomy, clean and comfortable. A top-floor onsen offers the mountain view for both indoor and outdoor baths. Buffet breakfast comes with variety of choices and tasty. Ice cream, yogurt drink, and evening Soba noodle, after taking onsen, are nice treats, worth a try. Staff are very attentive and helpful.

The size of the rooms with traditional Japanese elements was great. Much bigger than a lot of hotel rooms. Quiet and very comfortable. The onsen is well appointed and totally worth several visits during your stay.

Great Hot soba supper n especially for New Year Eve when most restaurant are close.. so thoughtful! Amenities n onsen were all great !
