Super clean, great location and lots of free amenities. The free bikes were the highlight and a great way to see the city. Would highly recommend!

The double bed style dorm is really nice, it felt like a small single room. The neighborhood is beautiful with a nice temple close by and a sento 10 min walk.

Great location. Super clean and convenient. I can't really comment on the staff as everything is automated and I guess you would only interact with the staff if there is a problem. But there want a problem 😊. I would definitely recommend this place 👍🏻

I liked the provided ear plugs self check-in was easy and available bikes were useful. It was comfortable.

The bedrooms are really cute and everything looks so cozy. Facilities are clean and you have plenty of space for leave your luggage. Location is perfect. The staff is soooo nice and the communication with them so easy. Muchas gracias, 100% recomendado :)

Minka House is conveniently located. Super close to Matsumoto castle, the Nakamachi area and the museum of art. The hostel is very clean. The staff are super friendly and accomodating..checked us in many hours ahead which was wonderful. You can borrow bikes from the hostel as well (2). The capsule style double bed was new for us but comfortable and great for a place to crash at night after a day full of sightseeing. Definitely recommend!

Really nice hostel in a good location. The facilities were good. The beds were comfy too. The free rental bikes were greatly appreciated and allowed me to explore a lot of Matsumoto.
