Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.In order to prepare special amenities for men and women, guests are kindly requested to indicate the gender of each guest staying in the room in the Special Requests box when booking.Please note, the on-site bathroom is not available due to cleaning from 14:30-15:00 every day except Thursday and 10:00-15:00 on Thursdays.Guests with children need to contact the property in advance if they require child meals. Charges apply.Please note, guests must notify the property at least 2 days in advance of their arrival date to request on-site meals. Guests arriving with a car are advised to drive early as roads to the property are through a mountainous area.Please note that public transportation between Matsumoto Station and the property is limited and guests arriving by public transportation are advised to check bus and train schedules in advance.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

We had a great stay here, it was really unique. It was certainly expensive but it felt very authentic and was a one in a kind experience. The hotel is a little old but thats part of the charm, it was perfectly clean. Baths were wonderful and the multi course dinner and breakfast was wonderful! I loved sleeping in one room with the family in the cosy beds they made up for us. It was a real highlight of the trip. Warning: be careful to check the roads before you set off - you may need to allow extra time to get there if a road is shut like it was for us - you also want to drive up those mountain roads slowly!

The hotel is beautifully locates in the Japanese Alps and the onsen facilities are stunning. A very characteristic and enjoyable experience. The hotel service and staff are impeccable and the meals were delicious. Highlight of our trip in Japan.
