The building is wonderful and seems to have history. There is a delightful and comfy lounge on the 1st floor where I relaxed in the evening. The staff were friendly and accommodating in allowing a late check out due to running in the marathon. Location for Matosinhos is great, everything walkable!

The hotel is very close to metro stops and in a very quiet area of the town. The breakfast buffet was good. The room was clean and had everything I expected.

Proximity to the tram was great for traveling to sites. Area was reasonably quiet and felt safe. Restaurants were available nearby.

For us the location worked very well. Close to a range of beaches and a amazing swimming pool. It is not the most modern when it comes to the rooms. There are amazing fish restaurants close by and it takes 30min to the Porto centre on the 500 bus or 45 min by Metro.

I didn't realise that the restaurant was just for breakfast, but the receptionist kindly let us bring in pizzas so we had our dinner there too.

Good location at far end of the town, right next to the tram tracks, small balcony on level one means you can sit out and catch some sunset in the afternoon. Breakfast is ok, but reception staff are too busy to be able open up and run the bar as well . Carpark discount voucher available from reception, but not free private parking space.

I had exceptional support from the staff especially Thiago at the reception. The hotel is well located, very comfortable.
