Absolutely beautiful place! In the heart of old city, with a beautiful little patio. You have everything you need for your stay there. Location is perfect, with a little walk from a parking garage (19€ for a day) We loved Matera and will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing place. The location can't be any better. Very central and opposite great restaurants. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, bed is comfortable, little garden in the back and personally the best thing for me is the bath. It can be used as a jacuzzi and it's got this nice little cove where you can put your book. The place is clean, communication was great. It's really one of the best places I've ever stayed at and can recommend it to everyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, perfect location with public transportation nearby; Simona was very helpful, responsive and adapted to our delayed arrival. She provided us with numerous recommendations on restaurants, eateries, etc., nearby. The place is located within a short walking distance of the Matera Cathedral and S. Pietro Caveoso, with a great view of the Parco della Murgia Materana, which is a definite must see! Parking is reserved for permanent residents, so a couple of the recommended parking garages within walking distance were Via Casalnuovo 158 and Via Pasquale Vena 6, for ~10€ per day. We met Simona at Dottoni’s to drop off the city hotel tax and revisted a couple times for dinner during our stay-the service and food were fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the meatballs and pizza. Highly recommend making reservations at Crioloss Bistrot (1-6pm, thereafter, open seating and in high demand) for later in the day, as its quite an experience to see Matera lit up at night. Of note, depending upon the season, there are limited dining options once you get later into the eve.

Beautiful place. Spotless. Awesome location. The host was so kind and we had dinner at her restaurant. I highly recommend the Pucce! The kitchen in this sweet is beautiful. I highly recommend. Our family loved it. One of my favourite stays in Italy.
