Beautiful Palazzo with breathtaking views. Decotated to perfection with frescos and antique furniture. Fabulous art collection!!! The staff was wonderful.

Location was great right in the middle of the old town. Hotel was clean with old world charm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable and bathroom was modern. Beautiful place would stay there again.

On booking.com it stated that you could pre book parking. When I contacted the hotel they said that was not possible. This was one of the main reasons that we booked the hotel. Breakfast finished at 10.00am. We were there at 09.30 and there was literally nothing left! No offer to go to the kitchen to get something for us. We were advised that there was a roof top terrace which we were really looking forward to. There was no one serving when we arrived. Then later we were advised it was not open for guests, only for private parties. Very disappointing

WOW. We were blown away with the extravagance of the hotel and the kindness of the staff. Highest point on Matera Sassi with amazing views, and very central to walk. Breakfast was plentiful.
