This is truly astonishing apartment. No wonder James bond movie crew stayed there, I felt like a sultan in real palace in my room. The host went above and beyond to help us - which was so nice on top of overall quality.

As boutique hotels go, this was beautiful. With original architectural features from the original palazzo, yet with classy modern conveniences, the huge room with it's little balcony over a quiet street was perfect.

the interior exceptional wirh high vault in reception area and room, spacious bathroom. top comfortsble bed. room size, perfect location. very close to everything. great communication with antonella, always very accomnodating andchelpful on whats-app (had liost our bus tickets). tasty bottle of apulian wine to enjoy.😊. extended breskfast served in nearby café - meat, cheese, yoghurt, croissanrs, cakes, juices, great (matera?) bread), butter and spreads very enjoyable instead of traditional italian style…

Highly recommended; the room was spacious and very comfortable and, in particular, the location of the palazzo is excellent. I was able to park on the road directly outside for my two day stay. Antonella was incredibly helpful and most welcoming.

The location was excellent. Facilities great, our room was spacious an comfortable. We really liked the property and their owners, who were very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to spend 3 days there.

Palazzo Montemurro is a truly unique place. Antonella and Pasquale were wonderful hosts. She provided us with perfect recommendations for places to visit in the city. We were greeted with a bottle of very good wine upon our arrival. The rooms at Palazzo Montemurro are very nice decorated and super clean. We fell in love with Matera during our stay. If we ever have the opportunity to return to this beautiful city, we would consider staying only at Palazzo Montemurro. We highly recommend this place.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay in Matera. The room was absolutely beautiful and we're so clean. It seems that there was a lot of time and effort put into this property, and it certainly paid off. Its location in Matera couldn't have been any better as it's right on the doorstep of the old town and all the sights. Antonella was great, giving us all the best places to go and see and a map also. I can not recommend this place highly enough , it was just great.
