It is a wonderful experience to stay in such a place. The host was great! We received answered of all of our questions, including where to park, where to have dinner… The location is TOP! And the view is for Billions! 💋 The Breakfast also is typical Italian and is great.

The location is amazing - although you have to walk down (or up) approximately 100 steps to reach it (no road outside) but great to live in a cave for a couple of nights. The views from the room were fantastic.

The apartment is incredible, and it has a lot of space. The location is very good and the views are amazing. I would definitely recommend this property. It's a bit on the big side for just a couple, but it's nice having a bit of luxury.

Maison d'Ax had the most exceptional room we have ever stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice—it was incredible! In our opinion the room is also perfectly located. The views of the sassi and the ravine just outside the property and from our little terrace were the best in the city. It was a short walk anywhere. The room, location, and the excellent communication would have warranted a 10+ out of 10. We knew exactly where to park, how to get in, and they let us in 30 mins before check-in when we arrived.

I've stayed there once again few month earlier and I enjoyed it a lot. Now, the property was under construction, the pool was under construction, the breakfast was poor.... I love the place of the hotel, and the view, but the standard was lower versus last time. I hope they will improve it again, since it is an amazing view.

We really love Maison d'Ax. This was our second time here. Great location in the old city. Award winning view. Please be aware that getting luggage to the hotel is a challenge. We carry both small travel backpacks (carryon) and regular suitcase luggage. For Maison d'Ax we pack for the stay in our backpacks. Much easier navigating the steps.
