This is really a good place for one who visits Matera. The apartment is spacious, basic furniture but clean and sufficient. There is a private parking in the backyard, easily accessible. Bellisario the owner is very kind and welcoming. We arrived there on Easter, where all restaurants were full and the supermarkets were closed, so we could not get anything to eat. We told Bellisario about this, he went back to his place, and lo and behold - he came back with his son, carrying a tray with homemade lasagna (from the family private dinner) and a bottle of wine. No doubt, this was the best lasagna we ever had. It was really a moving gesture, and we are grateful to them until this very day.
