This was the second time we stayed at the hotel. We booked again the large suite which is beautiful decorated. Enormous bath in the room. Nice outdoor seating area. Right in the middle of the sassi. Nice little restaurant with good food downstairs.

Situated in the Sassi area of Matera. Amazing views from the terrace & our suite was sympathetically & tastefully decorated. Breakfast was fresh & plentiful. Many good restaurants right on your door step.

This was easily one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The location was superb and easy to get to by the local shuttle. The host had great communication. The room was beautiful and the view even more so. Breakfast included was a nice touch. Absolutely recommend this place.

The location in the Sassi was amazing. The cave room was very well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and it was so nice sitting outside taking in the view from the terrace.

The location is amazing. The patio had such a great view of the old town. Breakfast was awesome too. communication very good too. Made for an incredible stay.

We stayed in the Metello suite and it was pure luxury. The room was so beautiful with designer furniture and fittings carved into the cave with a beautiful bathroom and standalone bath. There so many candles for lighting in the evening. We have our own private table on the terrace directly outside our room where we had breakfast overlooking the sassi. It was easy to explore the sassi from this location. Everything was perfect.

Excellent location with an amazing view from the balcony/terrace. Amazing staff with offered help to arrange transportation and tour around the old town. Beautiful and comfortable stay, strongly recommend!
