Our room was simply breathtaking and it was inside a cave. We looked through our window to see a beautiful church and the mountains. It was such an amazing experience to stay here inside a cave, underneath one of the famous rock churches of Matera. The staff were incredible and their service was outstanding. Breakfast was served on the patio out the front and we felt so special to be having this dream experience. We hope to stay again one day. The location was excellent as the town shuttle bus stopped down in the piazza just below our hotel. Perfect!

Kind and welcoming owners, the location is perfect with incredible views of the city, the rooms are stunning, clean and unique. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We hope to be back and would highly recommend a stay here!

The location is at the heart of Matera offering exquisite views. The hosts were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The room was very tidy and clean, with all the necessities. Breakfast was generous and delicious, set on the terrace offering the best morning views. We highly recommend this accommodation for an amazing experience in Matera.

Location was superb with stunning views of Matera, breakfast on the terrace likewise, the owners were wonderful, accommodation easy to access....we parked at the suggested parking with a bus almost to the front door

Booked the suite, and it was wonderful. A terrace with a view to the city and the canyon. The room was like a saga.
