Stunning property in central, yet quiet, location. Beautiful and spacious room. Delicious breakfast with home-made cakes. Charming and helpful host who organised a private guide for a walking tour of Matera.

When I arrived I was greeted by Raffaele and given lots of tips and lots of information on where eat, visit and some history of Matera. My room was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom too. Location was perfect, easy access from the train and to all there was to see in this magnificent city. Breakfast each morning was delicious homemade sweet and savoury food. The communication before arriving and while I was there was fantastic. I felt like I had been welcomed into a family home.

So central and easy to get to from the train station. Also located near great restaurants and bars. Easy walk to view the Sassi and all tourist highlights The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely home made delicacies. We would definitely stay again .

Unique building incorporated into the cave with ample space and a beautiful design. It was in a prime location and the owner/host could not have been more helpful.

Rafael was an amazing host in this family run gem of a place. The breakfast was exceptional. Home made tiny slices of cake made by his mother Tina. All sorts of variety to suit everyone. The room was very clean and well appointed. Very happy to suggest you stay here.
