While you can't see Sassi di Matera from the hotel, it only a 100m walk to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the predestrian road atop of Sassi. Because the Via Roma in front of the hotel is one way and restricted access you get very little traffic noise, which was good as I was in 1st floor room facing the road, and good to know if you are driving your own car as the Via Roma splits to oneway in each direction in the middle. Once you get the right direction the underground parking is easy and well spaced. The breakfast had a great choice, including good fruit and plenty of seating area. I think if you are visitiong Matera with a car this would be one of the top picks.

The location is excellent. The receptionist I don't recall her name, was amazing. Assisted in every way she could. Breakfast was very good good.

The hotel was in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is also parking under the hotel. Rooms were clean. Beds and pillow very comfortable

Well, really in the centre of city and very well placed where the old city begins, no regrets , will surely visit again. Hotel staff very friendly and informative about the whereabouts, very relaxing and clean hotel.

The position of the hotel was fantastic, right at the edge of city center. People at reception were so kind. The room was nice, the breakfast just fine. We used the parking space of the hotel, it was for fair price 15 Euro and boxes were big enough for our car.
