This is a historical site of great interest with archaeological artifacts. Breakfast was really excellent with live piano music. The personnel was extremely kind and helpful

The location is perfect - easy walk to everything! Our room was beautiful, with soft bed linens and abudant towels! The breakfast was amazing! Great service and beautiful breakfast room! The staff are excellent!

The owners were absolutely lovely, incredibly attentive, kind, warm and friendly. It’s a unique experience to stay in a Matera property like this and it felt very special. Breakfast was wonderful - live music from a lovely piano player and delicious fresh and interesting food - orange with fennel and olive oil, tomato bruschetta, local bread, cheese, cakes, yoghurt - outstanding. Rooms have all the modern facilities you need in a completely extraordinary cave setting.

Great location in centre next to lots of restuarants. Hotel organised parking and shuttle service which worked very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with great choice served at table which was nice . Room was large and very comfortable.
