Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereal, fruit, juices, charcuterie, cheese, eggs and bakery products. Matera is a stunning location, with plenty to do and see. Casa festa staff, provided secure and safe local parking at an additional cost of 20 euros per day which was ideal.

Close to the heart of Matera and by that I mean walking distance. Rooms were clean and tidy, security good.

Great location just outside the sassi and the hotel is beautiful inside. The room was very comfortable with a cute balcony over the street outside. Fabiana was so helpful and gave me a lift to the bus station when I left as there were no taxis.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The property is beautifully furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, the air-conditioning quiet and the bathroom has all the necessities you could need. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with the most incredible view from the balcony overlooking Matera's ravine. A special mention must go to Leslie who served breakfast. A charming, helpful girl who was a delight to talk to and learn a bit about Matera. We didn't expect the property to be so close to the Sassi Barisano. To be able to walk a couple of hundred metres and be greeted with the most amazing view of this wonderful city was just the icing on the cake.

Great location; easy to walk anywhere and easy free parking on the street. Lovely room and communal areas, with beautiful view. Good breakfast and very nice hosts! Thank you for providing Gluten free alternatives for breakfast’

1. Staff were efficient & friendly; I saw Anna each morning when she was serving breakfast: she was very kind, very sociable, and very helpful. She really put her heart into looking after me. 2. The whole house was clean, tidy, new-looking; everything worked and was efficient. 3. The house was quiet and well-ventilated.

Casa Festa Rooms is very cute and the rooms are nice, modern and delicate. Aircon was very appreciated. I didn't had breakfast so I can't say anything about the food. Great value for money!
