- The attention of Nina and the owner was impeccable, they make you feel at home. Very warm and willing to help you with everything you need. - The facilities are very well maintained, they are very comfortable and pleasant. I would return a thousand times.

Everything about our stay at Casa Del Sole was perfect! Lucio and Nina were so lovely and happy to help with anything. The room was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Matera!

Super location in the Sassi area. We had a room with balcony with an beautiful view. The rooms are spacious. The very nice and friendly Nina prepared a great breakfast. The other day we had the breakfast with an private piano concert from the host.

Location was great for us and easy to access upper & lower part of the sassi - there's steps everywhere 😀 that's just how it is no mater whare you stay ..... Staff friendly and helpful get Google translate on your phone if your Italian isn't that good this goes for generally how it is in Italy There seems to be thoroughfare next to hotel during the day but didn't bother us wonderfully quiet @ nite 😴 Breakfast good Italian type foods ..... Nina is a lovely person helpful & kind She kept our room immaculate Thanks Casa Del Sole Terrace nice to sit out catches light beautiful view over the church and valley

Casa del sole provides a beautiful view overlooking the old part of Matera, which truly adds to the whole experience. The room was comfortably accommodated for two adults and a child. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage. This is an excellent place for anyone visiting this part of the city :). The sweet breakfast was also an enjoyable addition to our stay.
